This is too good to pass up. Think about is... The Hulk looks fake, way worse than spiderman... and that is what Ebert had a problem with in is review of the web slinger. Bad boys 2 has a good story, a great climax.(the screenplay does anyway)... for the Value... I say this is a good choice. Bad Boys II 2.5 stars maybe 3. Hulk 2 stars maybe 2.5... either way... you won't lose betting on Bad Boys II. I'm upping my bet now that it's +130. Just becuase the hulk will be popular, doesn't mean Ebert will give it a good review. He'll poop all over it.

A GREAT POINT MY FILM GURU FRIEND JUST CAME UP WITH...

How long did they wait for a sequal...? A long time... SO WHY COME OUT WITH ONE??? Especialy when Wil Smith's career is doing great. Why? BECAUSE THE SCRIPT ROCKS!!! THE MOVIE IS GREAT!!! AND THAT'S WHY IT GOT THE GREEN LIGHT.

Errr... There's a sequel because the first one made money, no other reason.

With your logic, Dumb and Dumberer will be great -- because why else would they make a sequel?

Ahhhh, no.

I don't bet these props because the limits are pitiful. So take my advice for what it's worth.

If the wager is which film is set to get more stars from Ebert, it'll be Hulk. He's a tremendous Ang Lee fan and he'll respond positively to Lee's melodrama baked into the standard summer action framework.

Bad Boys II has absolutely no reason to exist. I seriously doubt Ebert will rave about two posers running around with guns. Perhaps my own utter distain for the standard Michael Bay shitfests is clouding my thinking here, but I'm fairly sure Hulk will have no problem garnering better notices all-around.

Pre-release 'Hulk' irks Universal

A spokeswoman for Universal Pictures, the Vivendi Universal (V: news, chart, profile) subsidiary, confirmed "a thorough investigation" is underway to identify how a rough cut of the studio's "The Hulk" made it onto the Internet last weekend. Distribution of the file resulted in numerous comments, some critical of the film, on Web sites including Ain't it Cool News. "The success of the movie is going to rest on the audience believing that the Hulk is real and clearly, it's not in this point," Drew McWeeny, west coast editor of the site told a reporter.
